End of the Tour de France unchained series

Netflix confirms end of Unchained series documenting the tour de france. This year’s 2024 series will be the last.
Popular streaming platform Netflix has in the past produced a documentary bringing behind-the-scenes action of the teams at the Tour de France. So far, the documentary has been produced from the 2022 and 2023 editions. The show, called Tour de France Unchained, followed several of the teams involved during the stages and captured the intra-team happenings, rivalries and other behind-the-scenes details up to that point. The treatment was akin to popular shows capturing the progress from Formula One circuits. The documentary won fans from the general public and cycling experts alike, despite some of the botched details.
Recently, Netflix unchained producers confirmed that this year’s Season 3 depicting the 2024 edition will be the last. The series will be presented during June before the start of the 2025 Tour de France. Netflix justified this decision as a natural end to the series and an effort to seek out new territories in the world of sports.
Us cycling fans will thus miss out on more watchable content. We would, however, highly recommend the cycling-themed shows available on Netflix. Le Vélo de Ghislain Lambert (2021), a comedy drama about a French cyclist suffering in the Tour de France. And the documentary series El día Menos Pensado (The Least Expected Day) from behind the scenes of the Movistar team in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
The whole series can be viewed on the Netflix streming platform. Direct URL to the show https://www.netflix.com/title/81153133
Don’t forget to give super thumb up after to express interest in this type of content. But the end of one show can be the beginning for a new one on competing stations. Lately, HBO and other local straeming platforms have been offering more and more sports content.
