Recently, was published a new model of road bike. The model is Colnago Y1Rs and the brand calls it aptly named “Designed to defy the wind”. Will this round be a new advantage for Tadej Pogačar?

The bike has been tested in a wind tunnel. The test found that at 50 km/h there is a 20 Watt reduction in the force exerted compared to the V4Rs.

Colnago allows the registration of a purchased model through the blockchain. The blockchain is intended to protect the ownership of the bike.
The model of Colnago Y1Rs can provide a significant advantage in flat and windy races. Recently, however, purely aerodynamic models have been disappearing from the World Tour peloton. So it is a question of how often the model will be used and how time will test its real advantage and use in different terrains. So far this season, we’ve seen riders use this model mostly on flat and low hill profiles.
